Mr. Raggard

Dear Parents/Students,

 

My name is Christopher Raggard and I am going to be teaching Geometry and coaching football this year. I am a proud 2005 graduate from PHS and I look forward to instilling the same fundamental geometry skills for my students, that I received. I have been married for 4 years to my beautiful wife, Katie, who is a nurse. We are proud parents to an amazing one year old son, Charley.

In our spare time, we enjoy traveling and we like to visit Walt Disney World at least 3-4 times every year. I am also a huge sports fan, with a few of teams that I root for. But I will always first and foremost be a fan of the University of Louisville --- GO CARDS! In addition, I also support the Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati Bengals, Utah Jazz, Manchester United, and Louisville City FC.

I attended the University of West Florida and graduated in 2009 with a degree in Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. After college, I worked for Infinity for a few years in logistics and marketing. In 2012, I decided to follow my passion and become a teacher and coach. I started teaching math at Avalon Middle and I spent one year there before moving on to Everitt Middle in Panama City. While in Panama City, I was able to be an assistant football coach at Bay High, as well as being the head girls basketball coach at Everitt for two years.

 

My wife and I then decided that it was time to move back closer to home, so for the last three years I have been teaching Pre-Algebra and Geometry at Holley-Navarre Middle School. I was also able to assist in coaching girls basketball and football at Navarre High.

I look forward to working with my students in any way possible to help them succeed in Geometry. For class updates and reminders, please sign-up for my classes Remind. The sign-up information will be given to the students on the first day of school. All I ask is that the students come prepared for class, ask questions, and get ready for an awesome year of learning!
